Fernhill: A community response to #BuildForwardBetter

By 21st July 2020 August 4th, 2020 Community Stories

Corra  Foundation Community Co-ordinator Cath McNally worked with Fernhill residents and active community volunteers on what they feel they and their community needs to #BuildForwardBetter. This information is based on people’s experiences in the community prior to coronavirus, as well as what communities feel will be needed because of the long-lasting impacts of coronavirus.

Fernhill community responses for a sustainable and resilient recovery post coronavirus include the importance of space, accessible communication, support for learning and development, collaboration between communities and wider; and the continuation of community activities and groups.

Fernhill, is one of the communities Corra works alongside. You can find out more about Getting Alongside Communities by clicking here.

At Corra, we believe every voice matters.  When people are heard, power shifts towards them and they can help create the change that matters to them.

If you want to join in on the conversation and you feel your voice is not being heard, please contact shasta@corra.scot and we can have a chat.
