As you may know for the past four years, our Chief Executive Fiona Duncan has split her time equally between Corra and the Independent Care Review, now The Promise.

The Promise is about to embark on a new and critical phase and requires dedicated leadership for a period of time. Following a request by The Scottish Government, Corra’s Trustees have agreed to Fiona being seconded to The Promise for the coming year.

The Board has asked Carolyn Sawers, Deputy Chief Executive to take on the role of Acting Chief Executive for this period and is delighted that she has accepted. Carolyn will lead the organisation’s work as the team continue to deliver on Corra’s ten-year strategy.

The Board will keep in touch with Fiona and wish her well as she takes forward this important work. We look forward to welcoming her back to Corra next Spring.
