The Chairman and Trustees seek applications from members of the public wishing to be considered for vacancies on the Board of the Foundation.
Corra Foundation is an independent Grant Making Trust. Since the Foundation was established in 1985, it has distributed over £91 million to more than 13,000 charities.
We are looking for Trustees who have a passion for the charitable sector in Scotland, and an interest in strengthening and growing communities. In particular, we are looking for Trustees from the following backgrounds: investment, legal, entrepreneurial, strategic fundraising, commerce/industry, PR/public affairs, and charity sector.
The work of the Foundation is varied and we particularly welcome applicants with a vision for the voluntary sector and how best our funds might be used to make Scotland a better place. The Foundation is committed to supporting grassroots voluntary organisations throughout Scotland, particularly those in the fields of children, youth work, homelessness, alcohol and drug abuse, minorities, disability, rural disadvantage and support for older people in our society.
