The Y in Penicuik has secured £6,000 of funding in the latest round of awards from Corra Foundation. The money will be used to help pay the salary of the youth development worker.

Mary Craig OBE, Chief Executive of Corra Foundation, said: “This funding will support vulnerable young people in the two local high schools. Getting the right help at the right time makes all the difference to young people when they could become involved in petty crime, antisocial behaviour or drug or alcohol misuse, and will have a positive impact on them for the rest of their lives. We’re delighted to have been able to support this work and know the impact of this funding will be well beyond its monetary value.”
