Vital Talk Orkney Counselling Service has secured £2,500 of funding in the latest round of awards from Corra Foundation. The money will be used to help pay the running costs of the organisation to enable them to deliver counselling sessions.

Mary Craig OBE, Chief Executive of Corra Foundation, said: “Vital Talk Orkney Counselling Service provides counselling for people across Orkney, and getting the right support at the right time makes a huge difference. Counselling can help people in a whole range of ways, from reducing the levels of medication they are taking to helping them sleep better which can really improve the quality of their lives. We’re delighted to have been able to support this work, and know that having basic running costs covered means people can get on with putting their efforts into delivering their much needed services.”
