We are very grateful to Zoe, a Primary 3 pupil from Braehead Pimary School for sharing her poem with us. Zoe wrote this poem in the earlier stages of lockdown, as a thank you to all the workers who are working tirelessly to ‘beat the virus.’
Thank you for joining in on the #SameStormDifferentBoat conversation and letting us share your wonderful poem in Corra’s Community Stories. We love it!
The poem was also shared with Queen Elizabeth hospital and here is a picture of it being displayed in the staff room with some very appreciative staff members. Well done Zoe!
At Corra, we believe every voice matters and this includes the voices of children and young people. If you know a young person who would like to join in on the conversation, please encourage them to get involved. We welcome as many creative forms as possible. You can email shasta@corra.scot if you’d like a chat.
