Local charity PLUS (Stirling) Ltd has secured £8,000 of funding in the latest round of awards from Corra Foundation. The money will be used to help pay the staff who support disabled young people to get involved in social and leisure activities in the local community.

Mary Craig OBE, Chief Executive of Corra Foundation, said: “The support PLUS (Stirling) Ltd delivers lets the young people involved take part in activities many people take for granted but from which they are often excluded. We’re delighted to have been able to support this work, and know that having basic costs covered such as paying staff means people can get on with putting their efforts into delivering their much needed services.”

This is the Foundation’s third award to PLUS (Stirling) Ltd since 2007, bringing the total support to £54,300.
