West Lothian charity Signpost has secured £6,000 in funding. The money is coming from Corra Foundation and is part of almost £200,000 of funding that has been awarded this month to 48 charities for work across Scotland.

Signpost provides information and support to families of young people with disabilities and additional support needs. The award of £6,000 will be used to pay for the Project Manager’s post.

Mary Craig OBE, Chief Executive of Corra Foundation, said: “This award will all help improve the lives of people living in West Lothian. Signpost has had four other awards from us in the past, and it is great to be able to continue to support its work. We’re interested in hearing from other charities in the area that are working to make life better for people who are disadvantaged, and the next closing date for applications is 15th July.”
