Human Rights Strategic Grants

Home > Grants > Strategic Grants – Human Rights

Corra aims to work collaboratively with third sector organisations of all sizes who are willing to make radical steps to support long lasting positive change. As part of this commitment, Corra’s Board of Trustees will make a small number of strategic grants that do not necessarily sit within any of Corra’s other funding programmes.

Corra has made three grants with a clear focus on Human Rights since 2020.

Decision making process

Our strategic grants are made through an invitation-only route which follows the process below:

Process Stage 1

Organisations will have had several conversations with Corra following research and in-depth exploration into the strategy area.

Process Stage 2

Organisations are then invited to develop a proposal.

Process Stage 3

Each application is reviewed by Corra Grants Advisors.

Process Stage 4

Each application is then approved by Corra’s Board of Trustees.

Why were some applications unsuccessful?

There were no unsuccessful applications as this was an invitation-only fund.

What next?

As this was an invitation-only fund, our grant making is ongoing in this area.
