With over 16 years’ experience working alongside communities and third sector organisations, I am passionate about community empowerment, capacity building, and helping organisations develop sustainable solutions that improve the lives of the people they support.

After a spending his early career with the British Army, Andrew worked in the investment management industry for well over 20 years, latterly in senior management and Board roles. He is also involved with ECAS, a charity focused on supporting people with disabilities, and chairs the Officers’ Association Scotland, which provides ex officers of HM Forces welfare and support for the transition out of military life. Andrew is also a trustee of the King’s Own Scottish Borderers Regimental Association which among other things provides welfare support to veterans of that historic Scottish Infantry Regiment.

Kirsten is a chartered accountant, holding dual membership of CIPFA and ICAS. She brings more than a decade of experience in finance leadership roles. Prior to this, she trained as an auditor with a Big 4 firm and is a former Head of Internal Audit for a FTSE 250 company.
Originally from Arbroath, Kirsten has recently returned to Scotland after 11 years living and working overseas and now lives with her husband in West Lothian.
Kirsten will take up her position as a Corra Trustee in late March.

Pratul is an accomplished IT Leader renowned for his adeptness in delivering business critical solutions to clients. With over two decades of experience, he has spearheaded numerous large-scale and intricate projects and services across diverse global landscapes. Currently serving as the Delivery Director at NTT DATA UK, based in Glasgow, Pratul excels in leading multicultural and distributed delivery teams across Government Sector. His expertise encompasses the successful execution of medium to large-scale projects in Application Development, Testing, and Maintenance, employing a spectrum of delivery methodologies including waterfall and agile.
Pratul’s career is distinguished by his customer-centric approach and extensive experience in multi-shore models. His educational background includes a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Strategy and Planning from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering from SSCET, Bhilai.

Rob has over twenty years’ experience working in investment roles providing capital to support management buy-outs and corporate development, initially within the private equity division of a large UK bank and subsequently at a mid-market private equity firm.
Since 2013 he has been an active social impact investor specialising in the UK elderly healthcare sector and has served as a non-executive director of a regional care home operator. Until recently he was also a trustee and treasurer at an Edinburgh-based charity supporting vulnerable elderly people.

Michaela is Chief Executive of Peek (Possibilities for each and every child) and has over 13 years’ experience in developing, leading and managing community projects with children, young people and families impacted by poverty in Glasgow. Michaela was a UNICEF Flying Scot Ambassador during the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and helped to raise over £6million for UNICEF UK. Michaela was recognised as one of YWCA Scotland’s 2019 ‘30 under 30’.

Tasnim is a researcher-activist with a particular interest in intersectional disability justice. Working towards challenging deep-seated roots of inequality her approach is centred on equity care as well as ongoing learning and growth. Her passions lie in community building and engagement creating knowledge and evidence that drive change and strengthening the disability movement.
Her experience spans across various impactful initiatives such as her advisory role for Trust for London’s Disability Justice Fund supporting Greater London Authority and the Met Police’s engagement efforts with marginalised communities collaborating with Sheffield University’s Centre for Equity and Inclusion in fostering anti-ableist practices and her role as a trustee at the Alliance for Inclusive Education.
Tasnim is currently completing her PhD at Durham University where her mixed-methods research is exploring the intersectional experiences of Disabled Black and Brown people across the UK.

Jude Turbyne became a trustee in 2018. Most of her professional life was spent working in the charity sector, primarily international development. For much of that time she worked in Latin America and the Caribbean with Christian Aid, ultimately managing at regional level. She returned to Scotland to become Head of Engagement with the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) before joining Children in Scotland as CEO. Judith has studied in Edinburgh and Bath, culminating in a PhD looking at empowerment in development.

Mildred holds over 20 years’ experience working to grow and develop effective organisations that respond to stakeholder needs. She has a wealth of experience working in leadership roles within the International NGO, Third and Health and Social Care Sector.
Mildred brings with her vast experience in strategy and operations and is an experienced business consultant and researcher, working to support organisation to grow. Her passion is working alongside marginalised and minority ethnic communities and with disabled people in areas of poverty across the world to influence positive change. Mildred holds an MBA qualification from Strathclyde Business School, an MSc in Public Health Nutrition from Glasgow University and BSc in Human Nutrition from the University of Zimbabwe. She holds various other management and leadership qualifications.
