Rewards Policy

Corra’s rewards policy aims to provide equity and fairness to all employees. We are committed to having a competitive and leading remuneration policy designed to retain and develop talented employees.

Part of our reward policy includes the principle of equal pay between women and men. There should be equitable and fair treatment of our employees, based on capability and merit, rather than biases based on sex.

In line with our commitment to equity across Corra, we have made the decision not to negotiate salary on appointment or progression. The evidence shows that negotiation of salary is an inherently inequitable process that marginalises women and those from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities.

All roles are matched to a salary band based on the skills and responsibility required for the role. Each band has five incremental points. New joiners start at the entry point of the salary banding appropriate to their role, automatically moving up the incremental scale on the anniversary of their start date until they reach the top of the band.

On an annual basis Trustees will consider whether a cost of living rise will be applied to our salary bands.

Corra is committed to always #ShowTheSalary when advertising any of its roles.
