We were extremely pleased to have been recently contacted by the Cupar Youth Cafe, an organisation the Foundation worked with some time ago, asking to join them in celebrating their 15th anniversary.
Since their beginnings, the Cafe has grown and flourished, continuing in their initial approach of listening to the voices of the young people in their community. Giving them a space to call their own, the positive impact their work has achieved over the last fifteen years is truly impressive and much valued by the young people of Fife.
We wish the Cupar Youth Cafe every success for the future and would like to say a big thank you for all the work that you do.
“Cupar Youth Cafe is a young person focused venue in North East Fife offering young people of secondary school age a comprehensive range of activities designed to stimulate personal and social development. After 15 years of delivering quality youth work opportunities, Cupar Youth Cafe continues to grow and develop young people to be all that they can. Corra Foundation For Scotland provided the initial start-up funds back in 2001 to assist us in this delivery and it’s with these thanks that we are now in the position we are today. We have grown and developed over the years, but our basic ethos and values remain the same; to keep young people at the heart of the decision-making process and deliver work that’s relevant, engaging and creates a sense of belonging.”
