Resources to tackle climate change

The need to act on climate change is urgent. However, taking meaningful action presents challenges, and it can be difficult to know where to start. Organisations can face competing priorities that leave little time to engage with this global issue.
In spite of this, organisations across Scotland are taking action to address climate change. This includes everything from active travel incentives to installing solar panels.
At Corra, we are very proud of our Carbon Literate Organisation Silver Award and the work we have done to achieve this. It has taken years to get to this stage, and our journey started with very small steps. You can read more about our journey in this blog.

- Visit the Scottish Communities Climate Action Network website. They can help you connect with other organisations on a similar journey to you. Their website is packed full of resources to help you.
- Make use of the Growing Climate Confidence checkup to discover actions you can take to reduce your environmental footprint, and funding that can help you on your journey.
- Tap into the resources and guidance available through Local Energy Scotland. This includes specific resources for organisations ranging from small community groups to larger charities. Their website provides links to any open funding programmes.
- Contact your local Climate Action Hub. These hubs provide a strategic regional approach to climate change action.
