Decision making process
The fund was run by a group of local people from Methil supported by Corra staff working in our Place Programme and Grants Team.
Application is reviewed by a Corra Grants Advisor to check for basic eligibility. Application is considered by the Doon the Dam group for how it fits with the aims of the fund. At this point, applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria or are not a good fit with the fund will be unsuccessful and will not progress further.
Applications that are a strong fit for the fund are invited to two events where there will be a collective decision-making process. Applicants are asked to share their work and are required to attend both events to receive a grant. Applicants then receive confirmation of the grant.
