Decison making process

The fund was run by a group of local people from Castlehill, Brucehill and Westcliff supported by Corra staff working in our Place Programme and Grants Team.

Process Stage 1

An application process was designed by local people with support from the Corra Place Co-ordinator. The group of local people met together, discussed, the applications, and made decisions on whether to fund.

Process Stage 2

The applications were then checked by a Corra Grants advisor to ensure that the applications were eligible with Comic Relief’s basic eligibility criteria.

Why were some applications unsuccessful?

One application did not meet the criteria as it was not focussed on working in the locality covered by the fund.

What next?

2022 was the second year this fund has run. It is not expected to run again.
