Promise Partnership Youth Led Grant Programme 

We are excited to announce the launch of a new Youth-Led Grant Programme. Designed to provide an opportunity for children and young people with care experience to say what matters to them, and access to funds to help make change in their communities to make them feel loved, safe and respected. We know that young people with experience of the ‘care system’ have important insights and we are committed to providing them with the resources and opportunities to support meaningful change.

This is a small, targeted fund, with a short lead in time and capacity of making up to 10 grants. Details of this fund have been shared with Promise Leads, who have been asked to share with groups and organisations that can demonstrate strong, existing relationships with care-experienced young people and who are in a good position to begin this work immediately. We believe that the Promise Lead connections and understanding of this community will enable them to identify groups suitable for this grant programme.
