A message from our Chair and Trustees:

This year, we’ve seen again how critical it is for communities and organisations to have the resources, time and trust they need to make a difference. The cost-of-living crisis has contributed to deepening poverty in Scotland, with the impact seen in mental and physical health, including of our children. This is yet another storm where Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities, disabled people and women are among those bearing the brunt.

Third sector and community groups have continued to be the safe harbour for many. However, they too have faced growing challenges around costs, funding and recruitment and wellbeing of staff and volunteers. Corra strives to listen, and to be alongside the communities we exist to serve. We’re guided by our ten-year strategy, which is a response to the world we live in, and a commitment to helping build a better one.

We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our partners, particularly the communities who extend their trust to us and allow us to work alongside them. Please read our impact report and reflect with us on the importance of advancing these practices with our work.
