The Corra Racial Equity Fund provides unrestricted funding to organisations that are led by, and working with, people from Black and racially minoritised backgrounds.
The Corra Racial Equity Fund was open to charities and registered not-for-profit organisations with an annual income of £250,000 or less. Organisations could apply for funding of up to £50,000 across five years (no more than £10,000 in any one year).

The Corra Racial Equity Fund closed to applications on Wednesday 29th October at midday.

In March 2026, we were pleased to announce £749,850 of multi-year, unrestricted grants going to 17 groups promoting racial equity and tackling racism through Corra’s Racial Equity Fund. You can read more about the grant holders via the news release on our website.

Decision making process

Applications are assessed for eligibility and fit with the fund criteria by a Corra Grants Advisor. At this point, applicants are contacted if further information is needed.

Applications are peer reviewed by other Corra staff. At this stage, some applications may not progress if they are not eligible or a good fit with the fund.

Applications are reviewed by an independent panel made up of people from Black and racially minoritised backgrounds. The decision makers panel meet to discuss applications and decide which organisations to fund.

The main contact listed on your application will receive an email advising them of the outcome of the application, including any grant amount and payment information.

When are decisions announced?

We expect to let you know the outcome of your application by the end of February 2026.

Can I get feedback if my application is unsuccessful?

We provide written feedback to all applicants and are happy to discuss this further with you once you’ve received your result.

What are the reporting requirements if my application is successful?

You will be asked to report on your grant 12 months from when you received it. This will be an easy process to tell us about how you spent the money and how this helped your work and the people you support.
