Corra’s updated statement in solidarity with Black and racially minoritised communities

By Corra Foundation
In August 2024 and September 2025, Corra Foundation released statements on racist violence in the UK in response to racist riots.
Across the last year we have seen an escalation of racist, Islamophobic, antisemitic and anti-migration rhetoric and violence. This week, we saw racist violence and intimidation on the streets of Scotland.
Today, we share again our statement of solidarity with Black and racially minoritised communities and extend an invitation of support to the communities we work alongside.
These incidents aren’t isolated or random but reflect a society in which some use their power to foster division. We strongly condemn this and recognise that at Corra we also hold power and influence and must use our voice to advocate for racial justice.
