Governance

Corra Foundation is a charity registered in Scotland (No SC009481) and is also a company limited by guarantee (No SC096068). View our governing document. Because Corra is a charity, we have a board of trustees who have overall control and management of the charity. They are responsible for the charity’s governance and strategy, and for making sure the charity is administered effectively. The trustees are supported by a large staff team who are responsible for the day-to-day operation of Corra. Read about our staff team.

Corra’s board of trustees

Corra has 12 trustees who joined the board through open recruitment processes. The trustees bring a range of experience to Corra including finance, human resources, communications, participation, and much more. Read about our trustees.

The board of trustees meet 4 times a year for board meetings where they discuss key issues and Corra’s progress in achieving our strategy. In addition to this, trustees sit on sub-committees which meet more frequently throughout the year. Information on these committees is shown below.

Corra’s annual report

We produce an annual report every year sharing the impact we’ve had in achieving our strategy alongside information about our financial activity. Prior to 2024, we produced an annual impact summary and separate accounts.  In 2022, we changed our accounting period end from December to March and hence accounts for 2022-23 are for 15 months.
