We have been sharing the latest news and achievements from each community we work alongside via our People in Place programme, publishing the Place Annual Updates for 2024. So far we have heard from Buckhaven, Blacklands, Cumnock, Langlees, Castlehill, Carbrain and Dunterlie.
For our next annual update, we travel to Scotland’s East Coast to the coastal town of Methil. Not only is it home to the Methil Dock and traditional textile factories, Methil is made up of caring community leaders, working hard to create positive change within the community. From community grant-making activities, in-depth local research, community history cafes, leadership courses and community forums, we celebrate all that has been achieved in Methil this year.
